Special Needs and Education

In 2015/2016, over 39,000 children in Oklahoma struggled with specific learning disabilities, including speech impairment, developmental delay, deafness and blindness, autism, traumatic injuries, visual and orthopedic impairments, and other health impairments.  At Oklahoma Dance Foundation, we understand that children with special needs and disabilities get frustrated with education among other basic needs.

We are committed to improving the well-being of children and families with special needs. Our special needs and education programs encourage dance education as a resource for special needs. We want to support different forms of therapy for children with disabilities.

We also seek to foster their education by fulfilling their essential school needs.
